Precautions in Drug Testing:

These are some of the safety measures used in drug testing to prevent harm or secure good to the results:

 Do not use expired kit.

 Follow the direction in the kit properly.

 Specimen may be contagious. Proper collection, handling and disposal should be done in a biohazard container.

 Gloves must be worn during the collection and processing of the specimen to avoid contamination that can interfere with the test.

 Correct timing must be observed to know if the reaction has been completed or not.

Are you in favor of Drug Testing before admission in school?

Yes, I am certainly in favor of drug testing especially before admission in school.

The two most common drugs that are being tested here in the Philippines are delta-9 tetrahydrocanabinol (which is commonly known as Marijuana) and Methamphetamine (which is commonly known as Shabu). These two chemicals can alter the normal function of the brain, heart and other organs as well.

Drug testing before admission in school can help avoid the use, possession, solicitation, and trade of illegal drugs inside the school. Provides safety for other students, helps maintain their academic performance and protects the reputation of the school. It can also be of great help for those parents who are too busy to monitor their children.
